8. תוקפו של חוק חורג
תיקון: תשנ״ח
(א)הוראת חוק הפוגעת בחופש העיסוק תהיה תקפה אף כשאינה בהתאם לסעיף 4, אם נכללה בחוק שנתקבל ברוב של חברי הכנסת ונאמר בו במפורש, שהוא תקף על אף האמור בחוק־יסוד זה; תוקפו של חוק כאמור יפקע בתום ארבע שנים מיום תחילתו, זולת אם נקבע בו מועד מוקדם יותר.
(ב)ההוראה בדבר פקיעת תוקף, כאמור בסעיף קטן (א), לא תחול על חוק שהתקבל לפני תום שנה ממועד תחילתו של חוק־יסוד זה.
