Yuval Raphael went from her first TV audition to the Eurovision podium in half a year

Yuval Raphael was born in Tel Aviv in 2000 and grew up in the moshav Pedaya and in Ra'anana. She began singing professionally in 2024: her audition for HaKokhav HaBa, the show that chooses Israel's Eurovision act, aired in November 2024 and scored 98%.

In January 2025 she won the eleventh season. In the final she sang Writing's on the Wall and Dancing Queen. At the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel she sang Keren Peles's New Day Will Rise, in English, French and Hebrew, and finished second with 357 points after winning the public vote.

In October 2025 she released Amber Skies, from the soundtrack of the series One Day in October, and her debut EP, 22:22. With Nadav Aharoni and Tzlil Klifi she wrote Michelle, the song Noam Bettan sang for Israel at Eurovision 2026, where it also came second. In June 2026 she released Papa, and in July she sang at the opening ceremony of the 2026 Maccabiah Games.
