Dalton Industrial Park, Dalton

A winery in the Dalton industrial park with a kosher meat restaurant of dry-aged cuts that looks over its barrel cellar

Kamisa Winery was founded by Yehuda Kamisa, a vine grower and winemaker from an old family of grape farmers, who by the winery's account founded and led several Israeli wineries before opening one of his own and naming it for the first generation of growers. Its vineyards are in the Upper Galilee and the Golan Heights. The visitors' centre has two floors: on the first, professional tastings led by the winery's wine guide, a wine bar to try the wines on your own, a wine shop, tours of the production halls and bistro dishes; on the second, a meat restaurant that looks over the barrel cellar. The restaurant has its own butchery, ages its cuts on site, roasts them in a charcoal oven and serves cuts such as entrecôte, prime rib, tomahawk, Denver cut and lamb neck. Its site says it is open Sunday to Thursday until 22:30, and sends the current menu and hours by WhatsApp.
