A family winery whose visitors' centre in the Dalton industrial park serves breakfasts and tastings of its wines and goat cheeses, facing the vineyards
Adir is a family-owned winery in the Upper Galilee, on the slopes of Mount Admon by its own account, making wine since 2003 from grapes grown at Kerem Ben Zimra, in vineyards planted in the 1980s and 1990s. Its visitors' centre in the Dalton industrial park pairs the wines with the cheeses of Adir's own dairy: it serves breakfasts, lunches and dinners facing the vineyards, tastings of wine and goat cheeses with explanations, cheese workshops, tours of the vineyards and the winery, a short film for the whole family and gift boxes. Groups of at least ten can book fun days and team-building packages, some of them combined with Safed or Rosh Pina, and it hosts private events such as bar and bat mitzvahs. Its wines are kosher, and the winery is closed on Shabbat.
