7 Tarshish Street, North Beach, Eilat

A Tuscan-style Italian restaurant by Eilat's North Beach since 1999, with pasta made on the spot, seafood and an open kitchen

Pastory is an Italian restaurant on Tarshish Street in Eilat's hotel district, by the North Beach, and the logo on its menu reads "since 1999". By its own account in 2012, it began as a factory making pasta sold by weight, which is where the name comes from: pasta and factory. A married couple, Nimrod and Keren Shaked, own it. In 2024 Walla and Israel Hayom wrote that they had run it for about twenty years, and in 2023 they opened Thai Story, a Thai restaurant, in the same complex at 9 Tarshish Street. Its website describes an Italian courtyard with a bar in the middle and an open kitchen where diners watch their dishes being made. The pasta is made on the spot, the sauces follow Tuscan recipes, and gluten-free or wholemeal pasta is on offer. Its menu of November 2025, in Hebrew, English and Russian, runs from salads, carpaccios and seafood starters to pizzas from the stone oven, 22 Italian main courses, most of them pastas, gnocchi and risottos, and aged beef, lamb chops and a whole sea bass from the grill and the oven. There is a children's menu, and its house wines are made for it by Seahorse Winery. Its about page names two dishes not to miss: the Ravioli Nero, open black ravioli filled with shrimp, celery, red onion and mascarpone, and the Rotillio, pasta flowers filled with spinach and ricotta. mako called the Ravioli Nero its signature dish in 2024 and wrote that the restaurant is full every day. A private room takes events of about 25 guests. It is open every day, Saturday included, for lunch and dinner. mako's guide to Eilat of May 2026 called it "not just an Italian restaurant, an institution", and in August 2025 Channel 13 listed it among the best restaurants in Eilat, naming its large portions, pizzas from dough made in the house, stuffed gnocchi and seafood.

Sources disagree on these hours

These are the hours at the foot of every page of its website: every day, Saturday included, lunch from 13:00 to 16:00 and dinner from 18:00 to 22:00. Its Google listing, as Wanderlog copies it, gives the same. Rest gives 13:00 to 16:30 and 18:00 to 22:30, rol.co.il 13:00 to 16:30 and 18:00 to 22:00, and d.co.il 13:00 to 23:00 without a break. A Passover notice among its website's pages, no longer shown, said it would close on the evening of the Seder, 1 April, and reopen the next day at 18:00, with its usual hours through the rest of the festival; those dates fit Passover 2026.
