Emilia began as an Italian gelateria at 120 Moriah Avenue on the Carmel and grew into a restaurant, and gelato is still its speciality. Its site says every ice cream is made on the premises each day, in cream flavours, sugar-free flavours and sorbets, limoncello among them, beside natural and fruit yogurts with a long choice of toppings, Belgian waffles and French crêpes. The kitchen adds pizza, a salad and pasta in many shapes, from spaghetti and pappardelle to ravioli and gnocchi, with eight sauces. Ice cream is also sold by weight to take home. It opens at 09:00 every day of the week.
