HaMiflezet, named for the Monster beside it, is the neighbourhood pub of Kiryat Yovel. Its site says it is a local initiative, set up and run by volunteers only and without profit, as a cooperative jointly owned by all the members of the HaMiflezet cooperative society, which anyone may join. It aims to be a neighbourhood cultural centre, a public living room where people get to know their neighbours, and a home for musicians and artists from the neighbourhood and the city. Local musicians play there, and it gives a stage to social causes and to new social businesses. Its calendar for October 2026 lists a stand-up show, a pub quiz, a karaoke night, a small metal festival and a community workshop ahead of the elections. It is open on Monday from 18:00 to midnight, on Wednesday and Thursday until 01:00, on Friday from 21:00 to 02:30 and on Saturday night from 20:00 to 01:00.
