Maree is a kosher meat restaurant and lounge bar on the 15th floor, the roof, of the Lagoon Vert hotel on Kehilat Tzfat Street, above the beaches at the southern end of Netanya's seafront. By its own account its name is French for the tide, and it spreads over 900 square metres with a view of the sea on every side. It opened in March 2022, set up by the restaurateur Itzik Russo, of Poupée in Tel Aviv, with chef Aviv Moshe, who had run Messa for more than 15 years and led its kitchen from the start, as mako, Israel Hayom and mynet reported. Since its relaunch on 15 June 2026 its chef has been Yonatan Roshfeld, with Ilan Shleifer, who came from Mariposa, as operations chef. The room was designed by Nir Ran of Studio Bold: several spaces, three bars, black rock cladding where the lift opens, a huge chandelier it calls the belly of the ship over a 360-degree open kitchen, where meat from the Josper charcoal oven and fish are cooked in front of the diners, a DJ booth and an open terrace over the sea. The menu on its website and its booking page runs from focaccia, bluefin tuna sashimi and beef carpaccio to the tomato salad Roshfeld served at Herbert Samuel, potato ravioli, fish and Black Angus cuts from the Josper, with house cocktails and kosher wines from Israel and France. Israel Hayom and Walla reported in June 2026 that Roshfeld would host regular Tuesday evenings around meat and wine, and mako wrote in July that the series was starting that month. Its booking calendar marks Wednesdays with a fire dancers' show, and its own magazine names Thursday nights and Saturday nights after Shabbat as its busiest. Israel Hayom's Ofir Rabinovich, at the launch evening, praised the view, the atmosphere and the sinta steak from the Josper, and mako put it on its list of 50 recommended kosher restaurants in July 2026.
