Grill 65 is a skewer house on Route 65, in the Sonol fuel station at Mahane 80 Junction on the south-eastern edge of Pardes Hanna-Karkur, where the Iron restaurant served skewers for three decades. It opened at the end of 2025, and its site names chef Hamoudi Okla, formerly of Rasif 33 in Haifa, as leading the kitchen. The kitchen is open and built around fire: a charcoal grill, a Josper oven and a plancha, with laffa from the taboon. A meal starts with the opening table, 12 salads and dips that change with the season and hot laffa, and goes on to skewers served two to a plate with a hot side, lamb chops, steaks, veal shawarma and Arab dishes such as kubbeh nayeh and fried kubbeh. It serves no alcohol, and Globes reported that guests may bring their own wine. It is open every day, Shabbat included, from 12:00 to 22:00, and its site advises booking by phone or WhatsApp, above all at weekends and in the evening, when there are queues. Mako's critic called it the most talked-about skewer house in Israel in February 2026, and Haaretz's review called it a loving tribute to the Arab skewer houses of the fuel stations.
