Burger Road is a kosher bar and restaurant in Srigim (Li-On), set up, by its own account, to bring an up-to-date night out to the Elah Valley, Beit Shemesh and the moshavim around them. Its partners, Oren Levi of Moshav Tzelafon and Yahav Sabag of Kibbutz Harel, met while working at a small burger place and started with a small grill in the yard of a farm; the neighbours came first, then friends and their friends, and the grill grew into a bar-restaurant. The kitchen serves a meat menu made on the spot, with every sauce made in its own kitchen, and the bar pours kosher drinks with classic and original cocktails. It says it works only with Israeli and local produce: beef from Israeli breeders, vegetables picked on moshavim and farms nearby, and beer and wine from the area's breweries and wineries. The room mixes a Tel Aviv bar feel with a warm, homely one, and it hosts groups, company evenings and private events with a menu fitted to the group.
