Isaac Pindrus was born in 1971 in Jerusalem

Pindrus was born in Jerusalem in 1971 to Moshe and Zelda, immigrants from the United States. He studied at Aderet Eliyahu. He married at 19 and settled in Beitar Illit.

At 26, while deputy head of Beitar Illit, he served in the IDF in the Etzion Brigade. He was discharged as a corporal.

From 1991 he advised local council head Moshe Leibovitz, and in 1996 he became deputy council head for Degel HaTorah. He was mayor of Beitar Illit from 2001 until he lost the 2007 election to Meir Rubinstein. He then served as deputy mayor of Jerusalem and was acting mayor from 2016 to 2018.

In 2018 a court barred his run for mayor of El'ad because he was not a permanent resident there. He entered the Knesset in 2019 and served several terms, including as chair of the United Torah Judaism faction. He left in July 2025 and returned on 21 January 2026.
