Nir Lavi was born in 1981 in Yehud

Nir Lavi was born on October 5, 1981, in Yehud, where he also grew up. He served in the Paratroopers during his army service. After his discharge he worked in renovations.

A friend recommended him for modeling, and he went to the studio of fashion photographer Menachem Oz. He was then cast in a campaign for the Kenvelo brand and signed with the Roberto agency. He modeled in several countries and lived in Milan for a time.

He worked for companies such as Giorgio Armani and Marks and Spencer, appeared in a campaign for the Spanish eyewear brand Sting and walked in a Versace show. In 2009 he hosted the second of the 5 evenings of the Sanremo Festival. In Israel he appeared in campaigns for Naalei Gali, Honigman and HaMashbir LaZarchan, the last alongside Ayelet Zurer.

Besides modeling, he owns a building contracting company. He is married and has 2 children.
