הסכום המפורט בסעיף 1 יותאם ב־1 בינואר של כל שנה לעליית מדד המחירים לצרכן שנתפרסם מטעם הלשכה המרכזית לסטטיסטיקה, ליום ה־15 בדצמבר שקדם לו; הסכום המותאם כאמור יעוגל לשקל החדש הקרוב.
