בתקנות אלה –
”המנהל“ – מנהל המחלקה לצאן או המרכז המקצועי לענף עזי בית במשרד החקלאות;
”עז“ – עז מכל סוג, לרבות עז בית;
”עז־בית“ – עז לבנה הנתונה לטיפול ביתי ואינה משוטטת למצוא מרעה מחוץ לגבולות המקום בו היא מוחזקת.
