4. תפקידיו של המציל
תפקידי המציל הם אלה:
(1)הבטחת רחצה של המתרחצים במים בגבולות המקומות המוכרזים בלבד;
(2)מניעת הרחצה במקום אסור לרחצה ובזמנים אסורים לרחצה וזאת בתחום חוף הרחצה שניתנים בו שירותי הצלה ובשעת פעולתם של שירותי ההצלה;
(3)הגשת עזרה ראשונה לנזקק עד שיוחלף בידי מגיש עזרה ראשונה;
(4)הבטחת תקינות תחנת ההצלה וציוד ההצלה והעזרה הראשונה בתחנת ההצלה.
