שוטר שפוטר לפני תחילת החוק וכן שאיריו של שוטר שנפטר לפני תחילת החוק, ונתקיימו בהם התנאים האמורים בסעיף 59 לחוק, תשולם להם גימלה אף אם לא נתמלאו בהם התנאים האמורים בסעיפים 1 ו־2 לעיל.
