12. תקופת כהונה של חבר המועצה
תקופת כהונתו של חבר המועצה תהיה ארבע שנים, ואפשר לשוב ולמנותו, לפי הוראות סעיף 7, לתקופת כהונה אחת נוספת, ולגבי חבר המועצה שמונה לפי פסקאות (1) עד (6) של סעיף 7(א) – לשתי תקופות כהונה נוספות; ואולם את חבר המועצה שמונה לפי פסקה (6) לסעיף האמור שהוא ראש אגף נפגעי פעולות איבה או ראש אגף שיקום במוסד לביטוח לאומי, ניתן לשוב ולמנות לתקופות כהונה נוספות כל עוד הוא מכהן בתפקידו.
