ליקוי טכני בעריכתו של מסמך הנערך לפי חוק זה, אין בו כדי לפגום בתקפם של ההליכים על פיו, אולם אם נראה לבית המשפט כי יש בדבר חשש לעיוות דינו של הנאשם, רשאי הוא לדחות את הדיון למועד אחר או להורות הוראה אחרת כדי להסיר את החשש.
