240. בתי מטבחיים
בענין שחיטת בהמות לצריכת אדם תקים העיריה בתי מטבחיים ותסדירם, ובלי לפגוע בכללותה של סמכות זו, תבטיח –
(1)בדיקה סניטרית של בעלי חיים לפני שחיטתם ובדיקת גופותיהם;
(2)עצירתם של בעלי חיים המובלים לשחיטה, לשם בדיקתם, וסילוק בעלי חיים שנמצאו חולים;
(3)סילוק גופותיהם של בעלי חיים חולים שנשחטו או שמתו;
(4)סימון גופותיהם של בעלי חיים שנשחטו בבתי מטבחיים עירוניים לשם ציון שחיטתם כאמור.
