53. חשבונות דו״ח ומתן ידיעות
תיקון: תשמ״ה, תשע״ו
האפוטרופוס חייב, בכל עניני האפוטרופסות, לנהל חשבונות, להגיש לאפוטרופוס הכללי דין וחשבון כפי שיורה, אך לפחות אחת לשנה ובגמר תפקידו או בפקיעת האפוטרופסות, ולהמציא לאפוטרופוס הכללי ידיעות מלאות לפי דרישתו, זולת אם פטר אותו האפוטרופוס הכללי, בהתאם לנהלים שקבע, מחובת הגשת דין וחשבון או קבע מועד אחר להגשתו. שר המשפטים רשאי להתקין תקנות בדבר החשבונות שעל אפוטרופסים לנהל.
