7. אישור תכנית העבודה
(א)המבקר הפנימי יגיש לאישור הממונה כאמור בסעיף 5 הצעה לתכנית עבודה שנתית או תקופתית והממונה יאשר אותה בשינויים הנראים לו.
(ב)השר הממונה על משרד ממשלתי יושב ראש דירקטוריון או יושב ראש של גוף הממלא תפקיד מקביל לשל דירקטוריון, וכן הממונה, רשאים להטיל על המבקר הפנימי משימות של ביקורת פנימית נוספות על הקבועות בתכנית עבודה כאמור בסעיף קטן (א).
