שכר עבודה המשתלם על בסיס של חודש ישולם עם תום החודש בעדו הוא משתלם. בשכר עבודה המשתלם על בסיס תקופה ארוכה מחודש, רואים כאילו היה החלק היחסי לכל חודש משתלם על בסיס של חודש.
