בית המשפט או הרשם רשאי להורות למומחה רפואי לבדוק בדיקה נוספת מי שטעון בדיקה לפי סימן זה ולהגיש חוות דעת נוספת; כן הוא רשאי להורות לבעל דין שיעמיד מי שטעון בדיקה כאמור לבדיקה נוספת בידי מומחה רפואי אחר.
