28כ. צו לאימוץ בין־ארצי על־ידי בית משפט
תיקון: תשנ״ו, תשנ״ו־2, תשנ״ח, תשנ״ח־2, תשע״א
(א)בית משפט רשאי לתת צו לאימוץ של ילד ממדינת חוץ על ידי המבקש לאחר שנוכח כי נתקיימו כל התנאים לענין אימוץ בין־ארצי לפי חוק זה.
(ב)לא יתן בית המשפט צו אימוץ כאמור בסעיף קטן (א) אלא לאחר שקיבל חוות דעת בכתב מהעמותה המוכרת או תסקיר של עובד סוציאלי לפי חוק האימוץ כאמור בסעיף 22.
(ג)בית המשפט רשאי לתת צו אימוץ לפי סעיף זה אף אם המאמץ אינו בן דתו של המאומץ, ובלבד שנוכח כי הדבר אינו פוגע בטובת הילד.
