5ג. סמכות לפטור מתשלום ריבית ותוספת פיגורים
תיקון: תשס״ג, תש״ע, תשע״ב, תשע״ח־2, תשפ״ד
מנהל המרכז רשאי לפטור חייב, על פי בקשתו, מתשלום, ריבית ותוספת פיגורים, כולן או חלקן, שהתווספו על פי דין לחוב כהגדרתו בסעיף 1, למעט לפי פסקה (6) להגדרה ”חוב“, אם שוכנע כי היו סיבות סבירות לאי תשלום החוב, כולו או חלקו, במועדו, כי החייב שילם את החוב או חלקו בהתאם לפריסה או לדחייה שנקבעה לו לפי סעיף 5ב או כי קיימות נסיבות אישיות מיוחדות של החייב המצדיקות פטור כאמור.
