שטח תכנון עיר שהוכרז עליו לפי סעיף 10 לפקודה ושהיה קיים ערב תחילתו של חוק זה, רואים אותו מיום תחילתו של חוק זה כמרחב תכנון מקומי שהוכרז עליו לפי סעיפים 13 ו־14 לחוק זה; שטח תכנון גלילי שהוכרז כאמור – רואים אותו כמרחב תכנון מקומי שסעיף 12 לחוק זה חל עליו.
