המעסיק שוטר לתפקידים מיוחדים ומבקש להפסיק שירותו יתן למפקח הכללי הודעה חודש ימים מראש; אך רשאי המפקח הכללי, לפי שיקול דעתו, לוותר על הודעה כזאת.
