ברישיון הרכב תצוין דרגת זיהום האוויר של הרכב, אשר תחושב לפי נוהל ”חישוב דרגת זיהום האוויר לרכב“, שקבע מנהל אגף הרכב בהתייעצות עם מנהל אגף איכות האוויר במשרד להגנת הסביבה, המתפרסם באתר האינטרנט של משרד התחבורה ועומד לעיון הציבור באגף הרכב במשרד התחבורה בשעות העבודה הרגילות של המשרד.
