24. סמכות הורי קטין
הורה של קטין מוסמך לייצגו בענין הטיפול הרפואי בו, בין לענין הארכת חייו ובין לענין הימנעות מהארכת חייו; אפוטרופוס של קטין, שהוא אדם קרוב, רשאי להשמיע את עמדתו לענין זה והרופא האחראי רשאי לפעול על פיה; היה הקטין חסר הורים, או שנשללה אפוטרופסות ההורים ולא נקבע לקטין אפוטרופוס או שאפוטרופסו אינו אדם קרוב, תכריע בענינו הוועדה המוסדית.
