תיקון: תשע״ו
מי שניתנה לו סמכות לפי חוק זה רשאי, בעת הפעלת סמכותו, לשקול שיקולים לצמצום פגיעה ברווחתם של בעלי חיים כהגדרתם בחוק צער בעלי חיים (הגנה על בעלי חיים), תשנ״ד–1994, ולקידום מטרותיו של החוק האמור.
