3. תקופות שאינן מפסיקות רציפות

רציפות בשירות אין רואים אותה כנפסקת מחמת העדרו של החייל משירותו לרגל אחת מאלה –
(1)חופשה או מנוחה שניתנו לפי כללי השירות;
(2)הפסקה שחלה בשירות ואין לחייל שליטה עליה;
(3)כל הפסקה אחרת שנקבעה בתקנות כבלתי מפסקת את רציפות השירות.
