תיקון: תשנ״ח [13]
על אף האמור בחוק זה, לגבי מי שהתגייס לשירות חובה עד יום ב׳ בטבת התשנ״ח (31 בדצמבר 1997), תובא לצורך חוק זה תקופת שירות החובה בחשבון תקופת השירות של חייל ששירת בשירות קבע לפחות עשר שנים או שהוצא לקיצבה מכוח סעיף 13.
