לנכה שדרגת נכותו אינה פחותה מ־40% ישולם, בנוסף לתגמולו, סכום חודשי למימון צרכים מיוחדים הנובעים מנכותו, כפי שייקבע בתקנות באישור ועדת העבודה של הכנסת.
