41. חובת בעל רכב למסור פרטים
בעל רכב מנועי חייב, לפי דרישתו של שוטר, למסור את כל הפרטים שידרוש ממנו לאחת המטרות המפורשות להלן, ואם לא עשה כן יאשם בעבירה:
(1)קביעת זהותו של הנוהג ברכב, הנדרש להציג תעודתו לפי סעיף 39;
(2)בירור העובדה אם הרכב היה, או לא היה, נהוג תוך הפרת הוראות סעיף 2, כשהנוהג בו נדרש להציג תעודתו לפי סעיפים 39 או 40.
