נידון אדם למאסר ומצא בית המשפט שהוא אדם עם מוגבלות שכלית–התפתחותית, רשאי הוא, לפי בקשת האדם, בקשת נציגו או בקשת התובע, לצוות שישא מאסרו במעון נעול.
