68. מעמד הצד השלישי
בביטוח אחריות רשאי המבטח – ולפי דרישת הצד השלישי חייב הוא – לשלם לצד השלישי את תגמולי הביטוח שהמבטח חייב למבוטח, ובלבד שהודיע על כך בכתב למבוטח 30 ימים מראש והמבוטח לא התנגד תוך תקופה זו; אולם טענה שהמבטח יכול לטעון כלפי המבוטח תעמוד לו גם כלפי הצד השלישי.
