בחוק זה –
”נמל“ ו־”מנהל הנמל“ – כמשמעותם בפקודת הנמלים;
”רשות הנמלים“ – הרשות שהוקמה לפי חוק רשות הנמלים, תשכ״א–1961;
”רשות המכס“ – כמשמעותו בפקודת המכס;
”מסים עקיפים“ – מכס, מס ערך מוסף, בלו, מס קניה או היטל לפי תקנות שעת חירום (תשלומי חובה), תשי״ח–1958.
