14. תקופת כהונתם של דיינים
תיקון: תשנ״א־3, תשע״ג
כהונת דיין תתחיל ביום שהצהיר הצהרת אמונים ולא תסתיים אלא באחת מאלה:
(1)בצאתו לקיצבה;
(2)בהתפטרותו;
(3)בהיבחרו או במינויו לאחד התפקידים שנושאיהם מנועים מלהיות מועמדים לכנסת;
(4)על־פי החלטת הוועדה כאמור בסעיף 16א;
(5)על־פי החלטת בית הדין המשמעתי.
