12. בדיקת מעבדה
המנהל רשאי לדרוש ביצוע בדיקות במעבדה בישראל או במעבדה שאושרה או הוכרה על ידי אחד הגופים כאמור בסעיפים 42(ב) או 52(ב)(2) לחוק, לצורך בדיקת סימון המזון לפי תקנות אלה; היצרן או היבואן של המזון, לפי העניין, יישא בהוצאות הבדיקה וישלמן במישרין למעבדה, בין אם נטל בעצמו את הדגימה לפי דרישת המנהל ובין אם היא ניטלה בידי מפקח.
