נב. דיון בדלתיים סגורות ובדלתיים פתוחות
הדיון בענייני משפחה ובבקשות לגיור מתנהל בדלתיים סגורות, ובשאר העניינים – בדלתיים פתוחות, אלא אם בית־הדין הורה אחרת במשפט מסוים או בישיבה מסוימת. בכל אופן רשאי בית־הדין להרשות או לא להרשות את נוכחותו של אדם מסוים או סוגי בני־אדם.
