אין להופיע לפני בית־הדין אלא בלבוש צנוע והולם, כולל כיסוי־ראש. עורכי־דין וטוענים רבניים יופיעו גם במקטורן או בלבוש עליון, אלא אם כן הסכים בית־הדין להופעה שונה.
