1. הגדרות
תיקון: תשנ״ח
בחוק זה –
”בן משפחה“ – אלמן או אלמנה ובאין אלמן או אלמנה – ילד, כמשמעות מונחים אלה בסעיף 238 לחוק הביטוח הלאומי ובלבד שהם יושבים בישראל;
”חוק הביטוח הלאומי“ – חוק הביטוח הלאומי [נוסח משולב], התשנ״ה–1995;
”חסיד אומות העולם“ – מי שהוכר כחסיד אומות העולם בידי רשות הזכרון ”יד ושם“, והוא יושב בישראל;
”המוסד“ – המוסד לביטוח לאומי הפועל על פי חוק הביטוח הלאומי.
