אין בהוראות חוק זה כדי לגרוע מהסמכויות הנתונות בסעיף 19 לחוק העיטורים בצבא־הגנה לישראל, תש״ל–1970, אך לא יוענקו לשוטר מג״ב כאמור באותו סעיף, על מעשה אחד, עיטורים גם לפי חוק זה וגם לפי חוק העיטורים בצבא־הגנה לישראל, תש״ל–1970.
