2. המפקח על מוסדות לגמילות חסדים
(א)הממונה כהגדרתו בחוק הפיקוח על קופות גמל, יהיה המפקח על מוסדות לגמילות חסדים, ואולם רשאי השר למנות במקומו עובד משרד האוצר למפקח על מוסדות לגמילות חסדים.
(ב)המפקח ייתן רישיונות והיתרים לפי חוק זה ויפקח על פעולתם של מוסדות לגמילות חסדים.
