1. הגדרות
בתקנות אלה –
”המפקח הכללי“ – כמשמעותו בפקודת המשטרה [נוסח חדש], תשל״א–1971, לרבות מי שהוא הסמיך בכתב לענין תקנות אלה;
”שוטר“ – שוטר הממונה על תחנת משטרה כמשמעותו בצו סדר הדין הפלילי (מעצר וחיפוש) (קביעת תחנת משטרה), תשכ״ה–1965, לרבות שוטר אחר שהוא הסמיך לענין תקנות אלה;
”מסמך“ – למעט שטר כסף.
