נבצר מרשם לעניני ירושה לדון בבקשה שהוגשה לו, מחמת חוסר מעש מצד המבקשים, רשאי הוא ליתן הודעה למבקשים לבוא וליתן טעם מדוע לא תימחק הבקשה; לא ניתן טעם להנחת דעתו של הרשם – תימחק הבקשה.
