12. אמצעים סניטריים בנסיעה
(1)רב החובל של האניה, או רופא האניה – אם נתמנה רופא ע״י בעלי האניה, צריכים לדאוג לקיומם של התנאים ההיגייניים באניה, ועליהם למנוע את טעינת כל חמר מזיק לבריאות, ולערוך רשימה בכתב מכל מקרי המחלה בזמן הנסיעה.
(2)החולים במחלה מדבקת יבודדו במשך זמן הנסיעה; כל אלה הבאים במגע עם החולה וביחוד המטפלים בחולה צריך לחטאם יפה; אמצעי חיטוי דומים לכך יחולו על כל האנשים החשודים.
