נפטר חייל או איש צד״ל הזכאי לאות המערכה ברצועת הביטחון בלבנון לפני הענקת האות, יימסר האות לשאר בשרו הקרוב ביותר, כהגדרתו בסעיף 6(ב) לחוק.
