הבדיקה להימצאות מיקוטוקסין במזון תיערך לפי השיטות המפורטות בספר Official Methods of Analysis of the Association of Official Analitical Chemists מהדורת 1995 או מהדורה מעודכנת ממנה שהופקדה בספריית משרד הבריאות בירושלים, או בשיטה אחרת שהוכרה בידי המנהל.
