9. פיצוי בעד עיכוב
אם עוכבה איזו סחורה לרגלי כל מודעה שנמסרה עפ״י התקנות הללו, יוכל מנהל המכס לדרוש מהאדם שחתם על המודעה לתת התחייבות בכתב להחזיר את כל ההוצאות ודמי־הנזק שהוצאו לרגל העכוב וכל הצעדים המשפטיים שאחזו בהם לאח״כ לצורך ההחרמה, אם לא ניתנה התחייבות כזאת קודם לכן, ויכול הוא לדרוש מאתו במשך ארבעה ימים לאחר העכוב לחתום על שטר ערבות של שני ערבים מקוימים באותו האופן ובאותו הסכום אשר ידרוש מנהל המכס.
